My brain is officially on reruns.

Oh my goodness let me start by apologizing for my long absents....
And let me pick up where I last left off, 2010. Thank God that is over, but as always, we survived.



I did finish matric but that is all one massive hazy shade of winter for me now.
Looking back, I think during my Post-high-school Pre-doing-something-with-my-life phase was the part of my life where I was forced to face some of my most difficult tasks yet. It was definitely a time of immense growth… and most of the times I hated it.



But, I shall now share with you my experiences and new found insight regarding life and other stuff alla bullet point:


• Your best thoughts come to you at 3AM in the morning
• At a certain point, “procrastination” becomes simply “one’s working style.
• You’ll hate half of what you try.
• Exhaustion is the true mother of invention.
• Offering some one a hug will get you really far in life, especially if it is sincere
• sleep? HA! what a concept....
• Asking teachers if they need help with something in class will get you out of learning.
• Vitamin Water is just too expensive to add you your daily diet
• Diet? Ha! What a concept
• networking is important
• Persistence will get you almost anything eventually
• If nothing else motivates you, there is always that thought in the back of your mind regarding your own funeral attendance
• Never ask your brother to rate your attractiveness
• Anything can be art
• Sometime the good guy doesn’t win
• The guy who works the hardest, in the end, will win.
• If you worked the hardest and you didn’t win in the end…remember: either its not the end or life’s a bitch and then you will die.
• Life is overrated
• But live your life, you’ve got a good one. And if you’re reading this, you probably have a better life than 95% of the rest of the world
• Making your bed every day gives one an odd sense of accomplishment…(Kidding! I really wouldn’t know!)
• If you think you’re not strong enough for what’s happening in your life, God will always beg to differ
• If things didn’t work out: Blame someone else and get on with your life
• Sometimes crying is the best response.
• Petrol is like really expensive.
• Actually, when you start paying for stuff, you realize, most things are like really expensive.
• Most people don’t get sarcasm…they are douchebags….and they might even be part of your family.
• Using the word douche might not always be such a good idea.
• Blog as if no one is reading…*This is funny ‘cause my blog doest really get read anyway!*
• The best way to drive is to drive fast.
• Steal and download and copy as much music in you life as you can and then listen to it.
• Always wear jewellery.
• Always be prepared.
• Be spontaneous, the best memories are made that way.
• Your birthday will suck most of the time.
• When in doubt, smile, nod and ask yourself what Jack Donaghy from 30 Rock would have done in the same situation.


Then…On ninja class:

• Never underestimate the blood that comes out of a wound.
• If you’re a girl and you kick a guy’s ass, he will hate you. He will then also get all his friends to never speak to you again, or even greet you.
• People, especially teenage straight males, are rude.
• If you’re in love with a guy who has a wife, get over him…If you know how to , let me know.
• Carrying a 30kg bag of sand for 5km on your neck can get really uncomfortable.
• But for the respect you get in the process, its tomalleys worth it. *I don’t know what that word is which I just used*
• Some times the things you hate are the things that keep you the sanest.
• If you wanna be hardcore then be fuckin’ hardcore.


On Friends

• The true ones stick around.
• And if they leave, they send you post cards.
• Facebook friends are not real friends.

And continuing

I started my career in the optometry/medical industry. But my profession as optical assistant was shortly lived...
After 3 soul bashing, disheartening, demoralizing and dreadful months working in a mall everyday from 9-6, I quitted.

Not really, although that would have been pretty epic. NO. my contract ended and it has been 2 weeks since.


What’s new you may ask….I’m leaving for Europe in 10 days Bitches!
Ill be spending most of my time at monasteries…but you could have probably guessed that by the lack of profanity in all of my posts…

Id like you to know that while I’m gone I will be posting regularly.
And I will probably miss some of you.
